Increased globalization and technology improvements in business environments have challenged companies to find ways and means to either sustain or increase their competitive advantage by adopting knowledge sharing practices, in order to become more efficient in solving problems, develop new products and enhance customer delight. The main purpose of this research is to explore and analyze the extent to which knowledge perception, the role of motivational factors and whether the use of social media tool (Wiki) enhance and impact on interpersonal tacit knowledge sharing at Sapo Company. In addition, the study also aims to examine the extent to which human management practices impact on knowledge sharing in the organization. This research uses qualitative method based on a single in-depth case study to conduct an interview to examine the knowledge sharing features of Sapo Company. The case study part of the research analyzed the findings. The conclusions from the findings demonstrate that the way employees perceived knowledge merits facilitating knowledge sharing. Secondly, motivational factors such as support and commitment, monetary rewards, public good for the firm and elimination of barriers, such as language, culture, etc. all impacted on knowledge sharing. Thirdly, the use of Wiki medial tool created the impression that knowledge will be explicitly available for all and therefore employees acknowledged that knowledge sharing and collaboration will be enhanced. Finally, HR practices such as training, competency and career development policies, compensation systems, positive attitude of management etc. all impacted on knowledge sharing.
